The Minnesota Timberwolves opened the 2017-18 season with some new players on the team, and new Wi-Fi network and new IPTV assets, designed and delivered by AmpThink.
Target Center is the 6th busiest building in the U.S. It hosts 200 large-crowd events per year, and hosts nearly 1 million visitors annually. Now that Wi-Fi and IPTV are installed and optimized, AmpThink is helping the Timberwolves to plan and execute mobile fan engagement initiatives designed to enhance fan experiences and create new revenue for the club. AmpThink is handling mobile strategy, graphic design, HTML development, video creative for IPTV, data systems integration and analytics for these R & D campaigns. In the process AmpThink is working with various departments across the Timberwolves organization including: I.T. Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, and Game Presentation. All this as part of a multi-year partnership designed to help the Timberwolves leverage all venue technology to improve the strength of its business.
